We have started a blog in hopes of spreading the Gospel and also in hopes of sharing the miracle of adoption beyond our current sphere of influence.
Our heavenly Father loves adoption, and "that which concerns the heart of God should concern the body of Christ." While many families have room in their hearts and homes for a child, they all too often become discouraged and do not answer the call to adopt due to monetary concerns. Our church has started an important ministry of support for families within our church body who are called to adopt. It is our desire to step up to care for orphans by connecting children who have no home with loving families wanting to adopt. Being a part of God’s provision for adoptive families is such a blessing - we invite you to join us in this important ministry. All that we ask is that you prayerfully and seriously consider the role God would have for you and your church in caring for orphans. (portions borrowed from Shohannah's Hope)

Our family is currently in the process of adopting and we hope by helping establish this adoption fund through our church that others will be encouraged to take a leap of faith into adoption. This fund is created in the hopes & anticipation that God will lead other church members to adopt in the future. We hope that this fund will help us & others to overcome the financial hurdles of adopting.
We hope that perhaps this blog can serve as one of the avenues through which family & friends may support & encourage adoptive families. Prayer requests might be posted, fundraising opportunities might be listed, adoption information shared, and more.
We hope & pray this adoption fund will be used by God in many ways.

*We hope it will assist families ministering to orphans in practical & meaningful ways.
*We hope it will help spread the word of the great need the 147 million orphans in the world have for loving families.

*We hope it will encourage churches & Christians to actively support adoption.
*We hope it will engage the community in defending children & celebrating life.
*We hope & pray it is glorifying to God above all else.
